Even more, map out the identity, behavior and preferences of online visitors. And last but not least, establish and reinforce the Boekenbeurs brand online.

With these goals in mind, Buzzberry developed a concept making boekenbeurs.be a digital and interactive platform that functions not only as a crossroads of the multichannel communication strategy. But also as an online tool to collect, manage and display data coming from different sources.
Calibrate translated this concept to a community based website developed in Drupal where cross-linking is the key and different users have different functionalities and abilities. To make Boekenbeurs.be as interactive as possible, Calibrate took full advantage of existing Drupal modules and combined them in such a way that all the benefits of the modules were being used.
Choosing or creating the right modules was essential. The interactive functionalities were multiple: upload book signings, download press documents, engage in a community, comment, choose your favorite books, book tickets online, or watch a video of an author. Once the site was launched, we nurtured the community and monitored the interactivity.
The results were significant. For example: the number of visitors augmented with 27% and an increase in page views of 41% was registered. To top of the cake, the website received 3 CMS Awards: ‘Best Overall’ , Bronze Award in the category SEO, Bronze Award in the category Web 2.0. www.boekenbeurs.be
